Freezer Rooms

Freezer rooms are unforgiving: defrost strategy, floor insulation and door management decide whether the room holds −20 °C reliably or ices itself into failure.

Defrost strategy

Electric or hot-gas defrost is selected on duty and product type, with heated drain lines and correctly timed cycles to keep the evaporator clear without lifting product temperature.

Structure and doors

Thicker panels, insulated and heated door frames, air curtains or strip curtains on high-traffic openings, and floor insulation that prevents frost heave.

Plant reliability

Correctly sized condensing units, phase and pressure protection, crankcase heating where required, and remote alarms so a night-time fault does not become a morning write-off.
